Hey Jimmy, Pat Charles here. You guys hit the nail on the head, Will Hall wants to run a run-first, RPO/Read based offense and ZCG gives us the best chance of operating that offense successfully. Noting against Semonza, but ZCG is a freaky athlete at the QB position and those guys keep defensive coaches awake at night. With a guy like that in the backfield you have to account for QB run on EVERY play. It's a lot harder to play man coverage defense because no one is looking at the QB. It forces you to take a player out of coverage to spy the QB, and it makes the threat of a QB run so impactful that it opens…
