FTW sources have confirmed that Tulane has continued to fill out its (very few) remaining roster spots with some additions via the transfer portal that, to my knowledge, have not been reported elsewhere, thus far.
First up is wide receiver Gabriel Daniels, who was a true freshman at Syracuse in 2025, and was rated as a 3-star recruit by 247, On3, ESPN and Rivals, out of high school, at Greater Atlanta Christian. Daniels ran track in high school as a sprinter, clocking a best time of 10.4 seconds in the 100 meter. As a true freshman for the Orange, he played in 10 games, playing 124 snaps on special teams and 79 snaps at wide receiver.
Another receiver, Bredell Richardson joins the Green Wave from UCF. A member of the class of 2024, he is actually still looking for his first collegiate target. Out of high school, he held offers from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, LSU, Florida, Penn State, Texas, Notre Dame, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Michigan, Utah, Texas A&M, Auburn, Arizona State and many more.
Daniels and Richardson will challenge for snaps in a receiver room that includes returning contributors CJ Lewis and Anthony Brown-Stephens, returning younger players in Oliver Mitchell and Antwuan Parham, and explosive transfer Destyn Hill, who is my early pick to lead the group in receptions and yards.
The third and final addition that we've been made aware of is cornerback Kajuan Banks from USF, who has one year of eligibility remaining. Banks has totaled 755 career snaps across his four-year collegiate career, spending 2022-2023 at South Carolina and 2024-2025 with the Bulls. He started 10 games at USF in 2024 but his 2025 season ended after just 4 appearances and 1 start. He feels likely to compete with TJ Smith and perhaps others at the slot corner position in Tulane's defense, known as the "Spear" position.
